A: Think your local tightly pack 7/11 or Quicky Mart jammed with food, BUT has a small killer craft beer section.

Q: Small, but excellent choice of craft beers.

S: Friendly, blue collar down-to-Earth guy behind the counter.
Not much help with the beer.

S: For a small little random shop in Northern Lake County (Far North Suburbs of Chicago, very blue collar area), outstanding selection. They had Founders, FFF, Goose Island, etc.
plenty of variety (6 packs and 22 oz bombers).

F: Plenty of junk food and household staples.

V: Reasonable to good beer prices. Not below average,
but not raised above the standard amount either.

Stopped in here after learning of its existence recently. It's a very cramped little...I can only call this a convenience store, though they seem to specialize in candy, liquor, and random wares. The beer's in a decidedly cramped little corner in the back, shelves on one side and some coolers on the other. Everything is slap-dash-ly thrown on the shelf, making for a cluttered, idiosyncratic appearance. They've got the usual general craft selection, nothing amazing, but not all that much that's crappy, either. There isn't much in the way of rarity or volume, but there's enough here for any beer geek to find something tasty to bring home. The service is hardly existent, though the clerk didn't seem too unpleasant...just distant and whatnot. The prices are about average for the area out here. Overall, frankly, this place really isn't that great, but considering the lack of local options (nearest stores would be in McHenry or Grayslake), it's not altogether bad, just nothing close to a destination.
