enjoyed from a growler filled the other day from a barrage snifter.
a - pours a murky sienna orange thin bubbly head spotty lace.
s - nose is real nice crisp and clean and sweaty hops, nice earthy malt backbone. definitely a pale but on the awesome side of the spectrum.
t/m/o - wow. what a great pale. the hops are sweaty and dank great citric notes. super refreshing and thick easy drinking. hope this is avail all the time, one of the best local brews I have had. not zombie dust, but I've if the better pales

Appearance: Arrives with a cloudy amber color topped by a thin layer of foam; leaves some dots and dashes on the glass
Smell: Earthy malts and tropical papaya; a touch vinous
Taste: The earthy malts lay down the backbone and the hops bring tropical papaya, citrus and subtle white wine tones (with the white wine element growing as the beer warms); balanced finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A solid APA with a nice expression from the Nelson Sauvin hops

Great tasting pale ale. Very unique. The NZ nelson sauvin hops give this beer a very earthy, slightly funky flavor and smell that is wonderful. Great mouth feel as well, a little bit thick, especially for a relatively low abv beer. Very well done!
