Sample had at the brewery, growler poured 2 hours at most after tapping into my Funkwerks globe glass.

A real nice orange amber body color, with hints of peach red, slightly opaque, but a real pillow like off white head that booms up on the pour. Laces huge in giant clumps and soapy rings. Really nice looking beer.

Nose has a nice hop forward but not giant front. Hints of mellow hop like orange citrus mixing with a little bit of pine. Subtle. Some little bit of malt sweetness hides in the back but it's a little bit indistinguishable and hard to sense. It's got a nice refreshing easy sense, feeling like a good solid drink is coming.

Palate hits with a solid hop bitterness. Spicy hop finish of orange and dirty pine needles, with a nice lingering quality. Luckily not very medicinal, but a real long lasting sting. Mouthfeel is quite light and definitely goes for pale ale territory. Warming tangerine notes come as the beer warms up also, with an almost juicy character.

The light bodied quality of this 6.9 brew almost feels session-able. I could see myself pounding back a lot of this, rightly or wrongly as that sounds.
