Bottle: Poured a dirty cloudy dark beige color ale with a huge dirty head with good retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma of rustic malt with light funky yeasty notes is quite sublime. Taste is dominated by dry rustic notes with some funky yeast notes and a dry floral finish. Dry Brett notes are clearly identifiable but are not overwhelming and keep the malt base flavours intact. Body is full with super great carbonation (a bit of a gusher as well BTW) and no apparent alcohol. I could drink this beer this every day of the year!!!

Poured from a 375ml bottle

Ap - Clear, brilliant gold. Very lively pour. It wasn't a gusher like a lot of people have stated in the past. The head is thick and stays around at about 1/8th inch the whole way down. It's also very sticky and leaves great lace.

Ar - Simple, yet complex. Horse blanket, dust, tropical fruits, chalky even.

T - similar to the nose in that it's simple and yet complex. The Brett is really noticeable, with an apricot-ish middle followed by a lingering dry, chalky aftertaste.

M - The carbonation is perfect. The mouthfeel is creamy yet lively. This is one of those beers everyone should try at least once. THIS is how Brett saison's should taste.

Bottle courtesy of Ed. Thank you for the opportunity!

Gushzilla....lost a nice fifth of the bottle...like amateur hour at the Apollo over here. Just sat like a dumbass for a good few second while the bottle fourth of July'd itself round my kitchen. Once settled, pours a nice clouded yellow with a tight cap and solid lacing.

Smells of chalky, funky tropical fruits.

Lots of tropical fruits on the taste a well. Heavy sweetness clogs up the middle while this finish is a light peppery yeast and some tempered funk.

Palate is way too sickly sweet and thick. Heavy on the tongue this just doesn't pop or drop like I'd prefer.

Eh, some nice components and the funk and fruits are pleasant but the mouthfeel here is way off. Actually it becomes cloying the deeper into the bottle.

Happy to try but won't rush out for this again.
