Pours with a good thick head that dissipated nearly as fast as it came. Glad the bottle recommended leaving the yeast in the bottle cause there was a crapload. Smells of sweet strawberries and tart raspberries. Starts off sweet and malty and slightly malty. Taste then drifts fruity with strawberry, blueberry and blackberry--both sweet and tart. Mild yeastiness finishes in with the tart fruit and also some lemon along with a mouthwatering saltiness. Almost gose like flavors here. As it warmed up a little, I even tasted a bit of pinot noir at the end. Definitely a tiny bit of oaky fruity wine. Mouthfeel is surprisingly light for the 8.0%. I really like the fruitiness at the end. Very nice!

A: Pours an appetizing hazy reddish-orange, with a large head that fades slowly.
S: bretty funk, lemon, wheat, apples. Sweeter than what I'd expect for the style.
T: The brett is more pronounced on the nose than the taste. Initially, what dominates for me is a green apple or lemon taste followed by a white wine that lingers with a slightly bretty influence. The very dry finish has some earthy hops prevalent, as well as some wheat/dried grass flavor. There is a chalky taste that is most noticeable on the finish.
M: What you'd expect; high carbonation with a medium-light body.
O: This is a great beer. I will seek it out again when I am within range of their distribution.
