"Our Kili Wit is a traditionally brewed white beer with refreshing flavors and creamy smoothness. This is a 100% certified organic beer brewed with local organic barley malt, wheat and oats along with whole cone Oregon hops and African spice. This beer is made with a portion of the proceeds going to the K2 Adventures Foundation that provides community service, medical and educational enrichment for African children."

Standard large Logsdon bottle purchased from Whole Foods SoMa in San Francisco. Carted back to Australia, where I shared it with @tobeerornottobe and @LaitueGonflable.

Very intense fizzing gush on opening, leaving a ery light burnished straw colour in the glass. Head is frothy and quite solid white but runs out of puff pretty quickly. Lace is fine and sudsy. Body is quite light letting large-bubbled carbonation run freely.

Nose is clean and sharp and with a peppery overtone. It's spicy, but I get the impression the spice is much to do with the yeast, and less to do with any actual spice addition. Under this is a clean, green vegetative character leading into a herbal note: perhaps a true suggestion of coriander. But it's different.

Smooth on the palate, more vegetal characters, more peppery, pithy and clean. It gets a bit soapy towards the back, maybe more of the coriander, or else the African equivalent. Slight aspirin fizz, some medicinal characters. Leafy, herbal and vegetative on the finish. It's quite pleasant.

Feel is a tad light. It works well enough, but it could use a little bit more.

Overall, though, it's very drinkable and pretty tasty. It has nice flavours, presented in a clean, bright package, but with enough twisty turns to keep things interesting.

Pale yellow and lightly cloudy body; thin yet creamy and lasting head; rings of lacing stepping down the glass. Excellent mild fruit and gently sweet aroms; apricot. The taste mirrors the smell with a lightly rich grain flavor. Medium body; gently textured on the palate; low-key residual sugar body; semi-dry at the finish.

A fine, delicious wit bringing subtle wheat notes to the palate along with a mild and thoroughly enjoyable element of apricot.

Tasted from a 750 ml bottle bought in Las Vegas.

L - light straw color; slightly cloudy. No real head, but some small bubbles are continuously active in the beer.

S - Nice wit aroma of cracked grain, wheat and spices.

T - Flavors of cracked barley grain, black pepper. Earthy hops and spice in the finish. Very clean.

F - Thin to medium body. Spritzy carbonation is a bit harsh and acidic. Strong bitterness in the mid-palate. Low alcohol presence.

O - Overall, this is a decent wit beer. Aromas are fresh and clean with strong hops bitterness. Flavors/mouthfeel emphasize acidic bite from the carbonic acid. Alcohol is well-hidden.

The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden yellow to orange color with a thin half finger-ed white foamy head that concaves rather nicely leaving a nice clingy foaminess all around. The smell was absolutely amazing with a nice lemon to orange fruitiness really sweet and strong with such a nice spicy coriander and clove - like allocation in the blend. The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors and combined them rather nicely. On the palate, this one sat right at a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation finishes fairly smooth with a nice creaminess coating my tongue. The carbonation is there but not too much. Overall, hot damn, I was skeptical of the price but being my first one by these guys, still, I'd have again.

375 ml bottle poured into a wine glass. Nice semi-hazy pale lemon color with a tall white head. Citrus and bread on the nose. Very subtle but tasty and refreshing. Great body and carbonation. Overall, this would be excellent on a hot summer day.
