750ml bottle into tulip. Best by date 9/2015.

A: Another Logsdon, another bottle bomb. I was ready this time so I bled off the carb nice and slow. Even still, once the bottle cap came fully I had a half a second to pour the foaming contents into a glass. Anyway, the first half of this beer pours a clear light golden with a very active, very billowing and rocky light tan head that took forever to fade into a thick film. Chunky, sticky lace was left down glass. The second half of the bottle poured the same except the yeast kicked up and the colored turned to a cloudy, chalky, lemon.
S: I get notes of kiwi and tropical fruit hops, musty, slightly peppery yeast, and hints of crisp and crackery wheat. Very crisp and fresh smelling overall. The yeast is musty but also dry and fruity. Hops are fresh, sweet, fruity and tropical. I also get just a hint of citrus and kumquat.
T: Follows the nose with flavors of spicy yeast, crackery, and crisp wheat base, (but not really bready). Hops stand out with notes of lime kiwi and tropical fruits. Lightly sweet overall. There's a chalky quality overall to both the nose and mouth. The aftertaste has a slight bitterness and some lingering pepperiness. The saison base has a golden fruity quality but it's not really sweet. It reminds me of a crisp golden pear.
M: Crisp drying mouthfeel, medium-light body, soft and chewy carbonation.
O: Really good, one the better saisons I've had in a long time. Tons of flavor. Tastes like a saison first with a hoppy bite of sweet tropical hops.

750 mL bottle, best by 05/2015 (I think, a little hard to read)

Pours a glowing hazed and clouded pale golden with a thick, retentive creamy off white head. Grassy and peppery nose with citrus mango and peach fruit, more IPA than saison as it warms. Flavor starts with a straw and malt base, strong grassy saison yeast throughout, with building fruit and bitterness into the finish. Grassy and peppery, fruity orange candy bitterness grows a little intense over the course of the glass, but strikes a nice balance of a crisp, dry well hopped saison. Medium thick, chewy body, with high carbonation and resiny, pulpy finish. Not particularly subtle,

Slightly more crisp, grassy and citrusy than the standard Seizoen. Quite good.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.

Appearance - Hazy golden yellow. Nice white head. Wispy surface and lacing inside the glass.

Smell - Grassy hops. Pale malts. A ton of yeast and it's a little musty.

Taste - Hops less intense, but nice. Very malty and less yeasty. Slightly bitter and a little more complexity to the malt profile.

Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation and just a touch too malty for me.

Overall - Herbal hop flavors build as it warms.
