I've only been here a couple times when coming to visit my parents but it a really good store. It's on the smaller side but I feel that focuses the store's selection. Beers from all across the US and the world.

I've been frequenting the store since Mark opened it over 3 years ago. It has grown over time and is, by far, my favorite place to shop for beer. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and ready to make recommendations. The variety can't be beat. If it's available in NH, they'll have it!
I sadly, I no longer live just down the street from them, but I still stop by anytime I drive past Nashua. It really is that good.

I've been here twice so far since the beginning of the year. Both times were very pleasant experiences, and I dropped some significant cash in their till.

This is a beer store for beer and beer store lovers. It's in a little plaza on a busy road with a divider down trhe middle (the road, not the store), so if you are coming from one direction, at some point you will likely need to make a U-turn to get back to where you came from. But that's a small annoyance.

For that matter, it's a small store. But it's worth seeking out! A 30+ foot long wall of coolers contains local and national beers excellently arranged in rows of sixpacks with singles beneath, almost everything clearly priced, which is a feat in itself.

Opposite the coolers is a wall of racks of singles of many of the same beers, so you can mix a six cold, or not, or both. Behind that is another area with racks of worldwide including Belgian and other singles.

In back is an apparently seldom used counter with twelvepacks on and in front of it. But this is mainly the place to come for sixpacks, mixed sixes and bombers.

An especially good selection of German and British. Also some space for glassware. They apparently particularly like Stone here, because you can buy shirts, glassware etc. in some variety.

The intimate size lends itself to conversation with the clerks, who are helpful and knowledgeable. They know what's new and good and are not shy to make recommendations. If it's not in yet, they can tell you when it will be in.

Prices are in line. Most non-premium 12 oz. singles are $1.75.

Come here for what you want and you will likely find it. And enjoy yourself in the process.

Very clean and organized. The didplay was first rate and the prices were visible. As good of selection as I have seen in New Hampshire. The owner knows his stuff and was extremely helpful. Excellent prices. Maybe the best beer store I have see in my own state. I will be going back to that place when ever I am close.

It is one of 3-4 stores located in a small plaza on Rt 101-A, a short drive north off Exit 7W of the Everett Turnpike (US Rt 3). There is a good signage but this is a busy road and you need to pay attention to the turnoff. There is a full wall of coolers on the left hand side of the store with the beers sorted by region. There are dry shelves in the middle and the imports are on the right hand side of the store behind the dry shelves. They make an effort to offer every beer you can find in N.H. in a decent supply. Loads of New England regionals. The staff are quite knowledgeable about beer and beer trends. You can break up 6-packs. There is a clearance shelf with past season beers available for a lower price. I spent about a half-hour in here checking things out and enjoyed my experience. I could easily go back.

Awesome selection with great advice and insight from the staff. If a beer is buyable in NH I bet these guys have it.

The staff loves to talk beer and has always been very willing to listen to my likes and dislikes to help me stock up with new things to try.

I stopped in here today because I was in the area, this is probably my third or fourth trip to this store. Situated in a strip mall on the North side of Amherst st not far from exit 8 on the Everett. A long skinny storefront with a huge multi door cooler takes up the majority of the rest of the store. Several floor displays seem to be taking up as much floor space as they can find. This store has a great selection for NH, probably the majority of whats available in the state can be found here. Mead, ciders, snacks and hot sauces are also well represented. A friendly helpful staff is always at the ready to help you with your purchase. The prices seem about average for the area. If I lived a bit closer this would be my go to store.

Here it is, yet another beer store in NH. Impressive, sure in comparison to the local (in state) competition. What sets this one apart from the others is with the way they catagorize their inventory. Simply put the beer is well laid out. I had no problem perusing the shelves searching for my cart full of liquid delight. One full wall of cold beer and the rest shelves. The only thing stopping this establishment from being top notch is the ridiculous NH beer restrictions. Sure, we're improving but we still we have a long way to go.

The customer service was sincere and certainly met my expectations. Marc was wonderful and our discussion of local beer (outside our distribution) was enjoyable. He certainly partakes in the local beer scene and can hold his own (sorry I didn't agree to your trade offer).

Topping my list of purchases was Founders, Firestone Walker, Maine Beer Company, Southern Tier and White Birch. The selection from these fine breweries was surprising. Pretty much if it comes to the State, you can get it here.

Kegs are available as well, just place your order. Prices are within reason, so come check them out and enjoy the tax free state.

A tight store withe two sections. Nice cooler with many many cold singles available. No beer in the window.

Good seasonals, no dusty bottles.

Very helpful but staff also stayed out of the way when shopping. Made some recommendations and asked the right questions. Knowledgeable but not overbearing.

Great selection with some stuff I just don't see elsewhere. Limits to some hints due to location (they can't get some brews available just over the MA border--shame). But they make up for it in a big way.

Did not see the food, but a wall of hot sauce!

Great prices and most importantly, bottle sizes (meaning 12 oz) available where you'd normally only find bombers. this is a huge plus. Very very worth stopping by. Beer tastings as well.

Moved to Nashua in October, and to my delight this store is literally half a mile down the road. The place is kept super clean and well lit, with a great selection of beer. NH distribution laws suck, but whatever is available in NH they are willing to get it for you, if they don't already have it. Good selection of imports as well as domestic craft brews, and there is a section for mead and snakc foods/condiments, as well. Good amount of glassware, and they put together some really nice gift packs around the holidays. There are a ton of tasting events at the store, with reps from the respective breweries coming in. They usually get one a week, give or take, since I've been in the area. Kegs are available at the store, as well. You can pretty much make this your one stop beer shopping spot in Nashua. Great store, and I frequent it regularly.

I have been frequenting The Beer Store of Nashua, NH since they opened, and I am a repeat customer. I would consider this store my favorite haunt for specialty beer.

The store itself has multiple coolers along the left side wall as you enter, a research desk at the far end, and a cellar section including local meads and wines, as well as specialty gourmet foods and spices. As for beer selection, it seems that everything that can be distributed in NH is represented in this store (except for B/M/C) and I have been having a blast going through the store one beer at a time.

The staff is very knowledgeable about what they sell, and have been helpful in pushing me into something new (like I need to be pushed). In fact, the staff knows me by name now, as they have a very good social media presence on both Facebook and Twitter. The only thing that upsets me, I wish I could remember the owners’ names.

As mentioned, this store does not stock Bud/Miller/Coors items, and I am fine with that. If I want beer from those companies, I’ll go to the gas station.

Prices are right in line with other stores for the most part. I noticed that if they sell something that can be purchased at one of the larger local grocery stores (Shaws or Market Basket); the price is generally the same.

The atmosphere in the store is somewhat conducive to socializing and suggesting beers to other people as well. I’ve been known to just hang out and other customers into buying something they may not have thought of before.

If you are local to Nashua, you know that there are a few different places in the area that sell specialty beer, and each is unique in its own way. This place in my opinion is at the top of the barrel.

I have been an avid beer bottle collector for years now and this place is my dream come true. For me its all about a fast paced rotating selection of beers so that each time i stop in i never buy the same beer twice. This place has never failed to present me with new beers each time i visit. A rotating selection of something like 300-400 different bottles of beer!

The staff consists of a husband and wife that are extremely friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and absolutely willing to go that extra distance for the customer. What more could you ask for?

The Beer store is very active on Facebook and Twitter which I wish more places would embrace. It keeps me very informed with all the new arrivals so that I know exactly what to look for when I come in.

All in all The Beer Store gets a perfect score from me.

i found this place a few months ago and it is really a gem. the beer is always in fast rotation so its always fresh and they keep getting new beers. if you ask for a certain beer, they will get it if they can. the owner and the people working there have tried all the beers and will walk around the store with you selecting your beers. they are very knowledgeable and obviously love what they do. there selection is bigger then any other place around but not huge. what really makes this place great is that the beers you might see one weekend, might not be there the next. so you always have a new selection of beers to choose from.

you can buy bombers or put together your own six pack.

great place!

I just stopped in here yesterday after passing by on the way home to see what I NH-specific beers I could find. There is an excellent selection in both the fridges and on the shelves. The staff went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for and gave me plenty of recommendations as far as NH beers and new releases.

I also noticed some wine and food items on the shelves. Their website has hours and even lists holiday closures, which makes it easy to know if they will be open if you are driving from a distance.

I will definitely come back next time I am in the Nashua area.

These people will go out of their way to help you find what you want. They will do their best to get in anything you may want, and are pretty knowledgeable on the subject of beer. They seem to have the same two people there, but they are friendly, and couldn't be more willing to help and passionate about what they do. Anything in the store is fair game for breaking up, if it isn't already done in their cooler. They also carry mead, some local artisan products and a small amount of glassware. Whenever I'm up in Northern Massachusetts, I make the 40 minute drive from my girlfriends house to give these guys my business. I would love to see them succeed, as they are by far my favorite beer-purchasing establishment thus far.

How can you not love a "brand new" craft beer store when it appears to fill a void that sadly exists in the lowly beer choices offered at most New Hampshire stores and markets.
This store does offer many choices of both cold and shelved beers that are on par with the craft beer stores in this state and in Mass.

I found the owners to be very helpful and ready to share their knowledge when asked for a recommendation. The atmosphere is laid back and the service is excellent.

I have been in the store a few times since they opened and they have added and replenished their stock as well as organize their selections.

I hope this store will be a sign of things to come in NH. I see more selections even in supermarkets these days. But specialty stores like this are always welcome additions.

Original review from 17AUG11: Have stopped in here about 4 times now, as it is close to my place of work (a 5 minute walk, to be precise!).

A small storefront in one of the myriad strip-malls on Amherst St, the place is set up long on a front-to-back axis. The check-out counter is ahead on the right as you enter. The room is divided by a partion down the middle into 2 rooms. A long row of coolers runs along the left wall of the left room to the rear. Most of the same beers as in the coolers, only warm, sit along the right side in the left room. The right room has shelves with lots of Belgians and a few domestics on the right, with a small shelf on the left of this room displaying various hot-sauces. I have always been asked if I needed help on every visit so far, which is nice. They have pretty much the good stuff that NH can currently get, which is fairly solid, though not what MA gets to the south. Prices are on par with Jaspers and Ayottes, for the most part, though Ayottes has a few items cheaper. Would like to see them get more stuff, but that's up to the suits in the gub'mint offices, ahh reckon... Prosit!!

I just found out about this place today when I was calling around looking for Parabola. This place apparently just opened less than a month ago, but already they have a fantastic setup and selection.

The atmosphere is rather unique, they have a really no-store like vibe thanks to nice wall paint, black wooden book-stand-like shelving, and set up. Sleek, clean, and extremely well organized. An A+ from me.

The Quality is top notch for NH. While it's relatively new, I do think that freshness won't ever be a problem, especially from such a knowledgeable and passionate owner.

Service is top notch, the owners were there and quite friendly. They reserved a special bottle for me when I called and were eager to chat about their shop and beer in general. Customer service, an honest price, and honest business were points he was emphasizing and he so far back that up completely.

Selection is pretty much the as good as it gets in NH, the only store that might have more is Bert's, but that might not be true.

As for food, they have some chocolate and snacks, along with a cooler of craft soda.

Value is right up there with the best in NH. Prices ranged from on-par with the best bottle shops and supermarkets with some bottles being the cheapest I've seen yet.

If you are looking for good beer in Southern NH, this is the place to go. It's even worth a little bit of a drive. It's probably the first store in NH that has me a little excited.

They have only been open for a couple of weeks, but I have stopped in twice. Great selection. Lots of good IPA's. Seems to be some buzz about the place, as both times I have been in, the place was packed. I guess thats common for new establishments. I had a conversation with the owners & they said they are pushing to bring more lines into NH. Overall good vibes & good music playing! Prices were decent. Many of the beers I saw & bought, I usually have to go down to MA for. Here they are cheaper & not much of a drive as I pass it everyday for work! I hope it does well, as we need more cool stores like this.

I'm sure I haven't visited nearly all of the stores that specialize in beer sales but I'm willing to take the risk that you'll be hard-pressed to find any better for selection than The Beer Store!

There are 2 rooms. On the left were coolers from front to back with hundreds of beers in many varieties. The room on the right, which I didn't have time to browse, included a large selection of Belgian beers. The service is very helpful and it was apparent to me that the staff were very knowledgeable. The prices seemed in the ballpark of what I would expect in New Hampshire.

I was in there for about 15 minutes and surprised at the traffic in and out after only being open for 2 days. I'm sure they'll have a tough time keeping all of their beers in stock but that's not a knock, only the reality of discovering that there are a lot of beer drinkers in the area.... Definitely worth the visit.

Visited on their official opening day, 6/24/11. Seemed like it has the potential to become a great little store. Bar in the back where I imagine they will do their sampling, (Looks like Thursday nights) Small selection of chocolate, hot sauces and sodas. Fairly well laid out, small office behind the cash register. Quality seemed to be good, especially for a first day. Good mix of 12oz and 22oz, only saw 1 growler in cooler. Staff seemed to be knowledgeable, commented on most peoples purchases. They weren't able to interact much as there was 10 people in line the whole time I was there. They were friendly enough to customers ringing up. Selection was the best I have seen in NH. Some locals I haven't seen before, and plenty I haven't seen in state at other locations. Obvioiusly a smaller selection to choose from than across state lines, but great lineup for NH. A few meads and ciders. Don't recall seeing any BMC at all, even the selection of Sam was limited. Value was mixed. Some stuff was a buck cheaper than I have seen at Market Basket since they started carrying bombers, but others were a buck more. But overall fairly in line with other locations. Coolers looked a little empty, and some of the warm bottle should have been chilled. (Specifically BBC) Can't wait to see what they bring in over the next few months as they show alot of potential. Heard them commenting how one of their staff was out picking up 40 cases of beer as they had sold so much already and next delivery wasn't until Tues.
