"Nashensko" means "ours" in Bulgarian, and in this case that means from the region of Veliko Turnovo. Boliarka has a good reputation around Bulgaria for brewing good beer, and so this beer means that this beer is specially for the residents of Veliko Turnovo and thereabouts. It is therefore only found in the area around Veliko Turnovo and in some specialty stores around the country like the Carrefour hypermarket.
Poured from the 500mL brown plastic crew cap bottle into a pilsner glass.
A: The beer is a very light pale golden color, yet has a nice pure white head, leaving some lacing down the glass.
S: Very faint smell of grain and corn. Not good.
T: Watery and grainy. A slight corny sweetness adds some flavor, but not much. Finish is slightly metallic and dry. I'm not sure if this is how it was supposed to taste or if it was a defect.
Notes: If this is to be proclaimed as "our beer," I would be pretty ashamed. This is just another mass produced crappy pale to be consumed in large quantities. Even worse than some of the other pales they crank out. Avoid.
