The wife and I were exploring Lower Greenville and stumbled upon this place while looking for The Libertine right across the street.
It's a small and dark shop with a bar, some sofas and a bunch of shelves filled with single 12-oz bottles and bombers.
The bar is fun, and the 16-18 taps are worth a look and a stop: North Coast Old Raspy, Dogfish Burton Baton, Firestone Double Jack, Founders Centennial, Boulevard Tank 7, Stone RuinTen and a bunch of Texas brews.
The drafts are pricey ($9 for my Burton) but they have happy hour specials and daily specials such as three dollar bottles of Union Jack and half-off Texas beer. Oh, they fill growlers too!
The retail part of the joint is not so exciting, sadly... all the beer is room-temp to start with (painful to see all those cans Dale's Pale Ale and G'Knight sweating it out). And the selection is only average. They have all the big names you need (Dogfish, Clown Shoes, Hebrew, plus locals and regionals such as Lazy Magnolia) but nothing rare or even interesting.
So my rating is high for the bar, which I would revisit, but forget about the store.

Went looking for this place off a tip from a friend. GPS almost got us lost but that was my fault.
Cool little place, happened to be totally dead when we stopped in, so we got to just hang out and chill. Nothing spectacular on the shelves but a good selection nonetheless. Stephanie behind the bar was very informative about local beers/breweries. We talked with her quite a while, since it took forever to fill our growler (stupid 32 oz with narrow neck!).
Speaking of which, they do growler fills, yay! whole reason we went there, got a 512 Bruin that we hadn't seen yet. But they also had a 512 Pecan Porter aged in whiskey barrels that was hard to turn down, but alas we had to. We were short on time so we didn't really get to enjoy the place as much as we should have. will have to definitely go by next time we're in Dallas.

This place is like a coffee shop but for beer. Dark lighting however which would make it hard to read. Couple TV's to watch sports but overall a very laid back place.
The service here is great, in a big city its hard to find a bar that has a "small town" feel but World Bottle Shop really captures this.
They always have a great selection and are always doing limited bottle releases. Bottles to go is a plus for this place as well as filling up your growler. On their special releases however their bottles are for on site consumption only.
You must take advantage of their weekly offerings as well which are great. Pint nights, free pizza and tacos are a weekly thing here and are very well managed.
Overall this is a great place I would recommend if you want good beer and a noncrowded place to enjoy it.

This place is very chill and relaxing. I walk in and its very small with a bar to the right and bottles of beer you can buy on the right. The prices arent bad and pretty average and they have a lot of beers you cant find anywhere else. There isnt tons of beers, but what they have is exactly what I wanted. The guys working there are very nice and really helpful. The bartender I had was very knowledgable and was a really cool dude. The real problem I have with the place is the price on the beer you buy and drink there. The bottle prices were like 5-16 dollars and some of the beers werent anything special. When it comes down to it, I would rather spend 1/5 of the money and drink it at home. Besides that this place is legit and is a great beer store/bar. I also love the fact that they fill growlers.
