This is without a doubt my favorite bar within 20 miles of me.

The atmosphere is great or not good, depending on when you you go. Some nights you're in the mood for a party, and they often have a band, DJ, or karaoke. Sometimes you want to just chill and have conversation over some brews, and that can happen. It's when you want to chill and karaoke is going on that it's less than great. But it has a little bit of everything for everybody. Family-friendly place, too (I just wouldn't take the kids out at last call)

The service is generally great, of the many times I've been there I've only had one or two instances where I felt the service was letting me down. Usually the waitresses and bartenders are very friendly and very good at what they do. My only real complaint is that it can be difficult getting a room temperature mug or glass for your brew, and I don't always want a chilled glass.

Holy crap, the beer selection is spectacular for the area. About 30 taps with a similar amount of bottles. It's not quite the selection of a Porter Beer Bar or some place similar, but it obliterates all the competition that I've seen within twenty miles. You won't find the rarest of beers, but you'll find some crafts and micros that you can't find anywhere else nearby.

The food is pretty good, but not as fun as might like. They have the normal bar fare: wings, burgers, nachos, stuff like that, but I wouldn't mind something a little different.

The value is pretty good here, some bottles are cheaper than you think, and none are outrageously priced. The draft prices range from great (Jailhouse pitcher for 8 bucks) to ok, again nothing outrageous.

Overall, this is my favorite bar in the area, I only wish I had discovered it sooner.
