Stopped in here this past weekend during the Grand Opening blitz and it is basically a bigger and cheaper version of Whole Foods or Sunset Foods. I thought the selection of food was excellent, but it was absolutely jammed packed with people.
The beer selection is in the back and middle of the store. Basically one aisle of beer, 1/2 imports and 1/2 American craft beers (Half Acre, FFF, Great Lakes, Goose Island, Riverfront, Stone, etc.) It is isn't huge, but for someone shopping who loves beer, basically your average BA fan, this place will offer a few nice beers.
Also had bombers on the shelf and in their huge cooler. Probably the coldest cooler I have ever been in my life; I'm warm all the time and after 5 minutes of looking around, it was getting frigid.
Nice build your-own 6 pack section at back of the cooler, great idea to please curious newbies or for getting nice range of beers for a party.
PRETTY GOOD, BUT NOT MUST VISIT DESTINATION!

Stopped in here during their grand opening celebration. Damn, this place can get packed! It's a hoity-toity grocery store, similar to Whole Foods and the like. The beer is sorta in the middle, behind the pharmacy and amongst the rest of the alcoholic beverages. In the aisle, there's plenty o' sixers, showcasing breweries like Three Floyds, Great Lakes, Half Acre, and others from the area, along with some decent imports. There's also a walk-in cooler, which holds more sixers, some cases, and a slightly small selection of singles (with a flat rate for mixed sixers). The employees are helpful, but not really all that knowledgeable. Frankly, this place isn't necessarily a destination, nor will you ever find anything all that rare, but this place is a much-needed source of good beer (including singles) in the Vernon Hills area. Plus, a steady supply of Half Acre and seasonals like Lake Erie Monster is always something to be happy about.
Comparing this place to the Arlington Heights location, this one has a slightly better cooler (which is much more organized) and a slightly bigger warm selection.
