Pours an exremely pale straw color with a thin, white head that's waving goodbye.

There's not too much going on in the nose; it's lightly skunky, but that fades quickly, lemon, grainy malt. A step up from the big three.

A light lemony note in the taste and it's not completely void of hops in the finish.

Overall, it's not all bad. Drinkable, refreshing, and a good everyday food beer.

I am surprised by the low rating. I personally prefer a quality IPA. However, as a change of pace, this is a great choice. Whenever I bring a 12 pack of this to an event, it is usually gone within a couple of hours. Peroni is a clean crisp beer great when you are having more than one.

On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a fairly clear straw yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like some herbal bitterness, lemon, grain, corn, and a touch of breadiness.

This is significantly better than regular Peroni. It’s more bitter, cleaner, and less sweet – more pilsner-ish. It’s not like Italian-style pilsner in terms of hoppiness, but the fresher hop character is definitely nice.

This is light bodied, clean, and very crisp, with a great drinkability.

I liked this much more than I thought I would – it was cool to find it on draft.

11.2oz green bottle

Peronia Nastro Azzurro Pale Lager filled my mug with a clear light-yellow body. A small white head was produced. The head disappeared quickly with no lacing noticed. The smell was of light floral notes. The taste was crisp and clean with just a very little sweetness. Mouth feel is very light bodied and well carbonated.

Overall, the pale lager is easy drinking due to its light flavor and thin body – but I would like more taste.

Had on tap at Noto’s Italian restaurant.
Poured transparent hay colored with a nearly white head that took a while to dissipate.
Aroma was lost on my Covid damaged nose.
The taste was a little bready with malts and light hops and lighter yeast esters. Pretty mild taste overall, but pleasant enough.
The feel was light and crisp, seemed appropriate for the style.
OA, good if you’re eating Italian food.

Surprised I never reviewed this before...and this one is actually from Italy. No strong aromas when you open the bottle. And same in the glass. Looks very average.

The best thing about this is the mouth feel and the amazing after taste. It really really kicks in. I think, only in the Italian brewed version. Most are brewed in other places and do not compare with this.

Build bigger factories in Italy and stop making it in other places, please.

Bought this bottle at the Glenfield bottleshop, Sydney. Best before date is 7/8/2022….that’s over a year old. A touch worrying.

Appearance: classic European pale lager. Light golden straw, foamy white sudsy head, lots of carbonation which is typical for the style.

Aroma: Sweet biscuity malts, grassy floral hop aroma very prominent. More so than most pale euro lagers, lemon barley,

Taste. Lovely biscuity malt, smooth floral hops with a nice bittering of a finish. It’s crisp and refreshing.

Feel: light, crisp, highly carbonated. Highly drinkable and refreshing,

Overall: Peroni is one of the best European lagers, if not the best. It’s bright crisp bitter hop notes and characteristic make this a very drinkable lager in any scenario. Would go a Peroni over any Australian adjunct or American adjunct beer.

Pours a crystal clear golden yellow, slightly less than 1" head, and tons of visible carbonation, small lacing. Nose is slightly corny with ample green bottle skunked hop (which I admitted kinda like). Taste is a little flat, but there's some mild sweetness and some grassy hop to balance it out; finish is slightly tannic and bitter. Mouthfeel isn't as crisp as all that carb made me think, as the feel is a little slick and weighty; still, quite easy to drink. Overall, this exceeded my expectations and is unfairly underrated.
