Sharp metallic Hallertau or corn(?)--expected from the green-bottled non-beer producing nations of Europe...light bread malt...tawny pale gold translucent body; a white frothy head that dissipates to a thin tracing...body is moderately effervescent.... smooth and minimal texture--starts and finishes with nondescription... clear and crisp--a bit watered to the point of refreshingness... trouble is naming a taste without a flavor--a bit of wood? "palate cleansing" is the compliment the Urquell/Peroni/Tyskie samplers guide ascribed to this lager, and the attribute sticks... as for the taste, this is beer best served in pairings, either with Italian dishes, cheeses, or five or six other Peronis, I believe...
