Had my first one of these in Little Italy, Manhattan, NY. Having this one from a bottle poured into a glass mug. Poured this one @ 90 degree angle into the center to try to get a big head. Worked; however the head dissipated into a skim layer in a couple of minutes with, odd looking, thin lacing just above the skim. Color is like a macro american beer.
Smells a bit sour like stale hops or an old pilsner. Traces of corn like a macro light beer. Tastes like a hopped up miller light with hops that sat around in my fridge for a few months. Mouthfeel isn't bad nor good but I expected more.
Pretty drinkable for all of the complaining I just did. Still reminds me of that bar in NYC.
Overall, less that what I'd like to see but worth a try. Might try this one on some macro drinkers to see what they think.
