a: Formed a large, rocky head upon pouring, which soon dissipated to a solid lacing. Colour is a nice deep, appealing amber with crystal clear consistency, save for the vigorous carbonation. Much deeper amber than your standard lager, evidence of high malt content I presume.

s: Smell is potent, grassy, very herbal for a lager. The ethanol content is big for a lager and this phenolic punch is evident in the nose.

t: Again a strong grassy taste and big punch takes this beer away from its euro lager category and it perhaps resembles a winier more syrupy beer; a subdued (in hop) belgian ale for example.

m: sumptuous biscuity, malt finish. This beer definately contains ample malt, just as its label proclaims. Full in body for a lager and that suits this beer drinker fine.

d: The only drawback to drinkability with this is its relatively high ABV. Peroni's standard lager is just about average in every way, but the malt and high ABV in this really makes it special and drinkable without any displeasure.
