Appearance: Well-hazed, orange-amber body with a finger of slowly receding, glass-coating white suds.
Smell: Some notes of toast, caramel, lemon rind, spice, herb, but the scent is just very, very light, a bit lacking, but I'm ready for the taste to bring on the magic.
Taste: Toasted grains soothed with sugary caramel. A little munch of ripe apricot, then, some light lemon before the spicy, herbaceous hops. Medium-light bitterness. Picks up a hint of white pepper as it warms. Drying finish given a little flourish of carbonation.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Overall: I found it to be enjoyable. TheLibrarianGirl nodded in silent approval at the Harry Potter reference.
Serving type: on-tap
