I try to visit Wrecking Bar every time I head to Atlanta. The vibe is awesome and unique. The quality of the food and beer is very high. The service is excellent. The selection is very broad across styles and volume. Styles I have had there include English Bitter, American Brown Ale, IPA, Strong Ale, Pale and and Berliner.

Now this was the way to end the night. Save the best for last. Incredible vibe, service was great, beers were really solid, and the Cure was playing through the speakers. (It was some old '80's alternative mix, which was stellar.
Hit here for all that I mentioned above (even if you dislike The Cure). Really awesome, chill place with super-solid brews.
If I am ever in the area again, or know of someone visiting, this place is on the short list. Cheers!

Stopped here and made our way to the bar. The place is awesome, the bar and dining area are underneath the house and around back. It gives off a more upscale type of look to it. The service was great, the beers were good and the menu for food looked really impressive. I wish I would have waited to eat here instead of eating at Torched Hop. If I ever find myself back in Atlanta I'll definitely be stopping back here.

One of the best places in Atlanta. The beer is great and they have great food. The place is in an old house that was renovated so the brewery and restaurant are downstairs while the banquet room is upstairs.

I really enjoyed Wrecking Bar. Diverse beer selection of bitter, koelsch, pilsner, DIPA, stout, dubbel, tripel, cask and wood aged IRS all on tap! Quality and service were excellent and the food was outstanding. I had three starters of charred octopus, beer heart tartare, and beef tongue crisps.

The Wrecking Bar is fantastic. My only complaint is that why did this place not exist when I lived in Inman Park? (I know. It took awhile for Georgia beer laws to change.)

V- very homey. It's in the basement of an old plantation style house.
Q- best beer in Georgia. If you're in Atlanta, you have to check it out.
Ser- great staff, and they're all really cool.
Sel- they have everything from a kolsch to IPAs to big barrel aged stouts, and they're all done perfectly.
F- great food. Chef Terry Koval is a phenomenal chef and his menu is pretty outstanding. They get all of their produce from a farm they own outside of the city. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, affordable pricing.
Overall- the best brewery in GA. Ask any local in the beer scene and they will tell you the same.

Sat at the bar on a Wednesday night beginning about 6:30 very busy when I left at 8pm.
V- A restaurant first but gives off a nice homey vibe. Folks come here for the beer and the staff is constantly talking amoungst themselves about beer. But not your classic beer bar vibe. Still very pleasant. Slightly dark. Rustic 4.0
Qual - 4.25
Sel - An excellent selection from grisette to IPA to stout to barrel aged selections. 4.5
Ser - Fine. I felt that the place was a bit geared towards the locals and regulars. But fine service. Nothing to otherwise complain about. 3.75
Food - I had the tongue and cheek pie. Very nice. 4.25

I have been here twice, only once for dinner. The tap list is nice for a brewpub, they had some casks at the bar that were not publicized at all, you just had to know about them. If you like hot beer the casks are for you. The venue is nice, it is just always packed. There is nowhere to wait, so you get really crowded. We got a table within an hour and sat in the back cellar area. I tried several beers, all of which were average or slightly above. The food tasted good and they have lots of choices. The next day me and a buddy both had food poisoning from eating the hamburger. I would recommend against it as a food choice. I will honestly probably never return based on my experience.

This place is awesome, great quality brewpub. I was leaving town on a flight that day as I walked in on a work party. Even though they weren't open the owner still allowed us to sit down like it was. He provided great service and took time to answers my question about the brewpub business. This place really turned me on to smoked porters, highly recommended.

A beautifully restored old mansion. Upstairs function room, downstairs restaurant, outdoor bier garden. Stone, wrought iron, somewhat of a medieval feel. Great vibe.
There were a dozen beers on tap. My wife is a sour fan, so she had Dr Funke's Sour Pale Ale, which she enjoyed a lot. I had Atlanta Altbier, a good alt, and Victor UPS, very piney.
We both had the Vegan Korean Sandwich. It was very good, but I make a better Raritan.
Service was excellent on a busy Friday night.

This was my first stop in the Atlanta beer scene on my recent trip. I found the atmosphere, service, and food to be excellent. What impressed most was that the beer was of good selection and above average and comparing to other brewpubs in the area, this one stood out with the best beer (I also went to Twains and Park Tavern). They had a great variety and it was tough to choose what I wanted next. I had a beer that tasted like straight liquid basil and was tough to get through but they said it is a favorite, especially with ladies. I could barely get past an 8oz. I did think it was an interesting beer but moved on to other good ones.
The only thing I did not care for is that when you ask for a sampler, you can not pick you beers, they have a set of beers that they insist you try. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say about this place and plan to return again and again when coming back to Atlanta.

Had dinner with a few friends the other night here and had a great experience.
Our 4 top was seated on a busy Friday night within about 10-15. Ordered a few drinks - all of which are top notch and they do half-pours which I really appreciate.
Service was knowledgeable and attentive. Menu had something for everyone including a super picky person we were with. As far as food quality, there might have been some nit picky things with some of the food, but it's really splitting hairs and not worth mentioning. I just got the house burger and it was awesome.
I grabbed the ticket for everyone since they do AHA discounts and I was the only member at the table. Talk about sticker shock - the good kind. Drinks, appetizers, and a meals for four was $100 before the discount. Total, absolute steal. Was fully expecting a $150-$200 check.
I'll absolutely be back, many times.

I’ve been here numerous times. The service is always very good, as is the food. They have a revolving selection of beers brewed on site. Both table and bar seating available. No TVs. Valet parking some (or all?) evenings, but free parking usually available nearby on the streets.

V: Basement of a house built in late 1800s, lots of granite walls and exposed joists in the ceiling. The up stairs must be used for social events or something but the door was open and my wife and I walked through the old house before discovering the entrance to the brewpub was around on the side of the building.
Q: Superb, Food and Beer were crafted with quality in mind. You can really tell that they enjoy what they do.
S: Service was good but we were in for lunch on a Friday on the way to North Georgia and the place wasnt very busy. Waiter was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable about what he was serving.
S: Selection was great. Had a wide variety of different beers they brew and a pretty extensive menu. I really liked the idea of a cheese or meat tray that they offered. I would love to come here and hang out with a buddy and share one of these trays as we sample several of the beers.
F: Wood was delicious. I had a fish sandwich and my wife had the bbq sandwich. The buns were were a little bulky and the texture was kinda crumbly. Both my wife and I wound up taking the bottom half of the bun off of the sandwiches and eat them open face. Rest of the food was great and the sauces were more than your run of the mill condiment.

Another wonderful beer place in Little Five Points. Every beer of theirs I've tried has been good, they make beers in many different styles so there's always something for everyone. They also have some unique beers, I had a bourbon barrel aged Baltic porter with Brettanomyces yeast that was almost beyond words. Valet parking only unless you want to walk a bit. Incredibly attentive waitstaff who are just as crazy about beer.
