Stopped in here as it was across from my hotel in Superior. Was expecting just to find the regular whatever, really only looking for some Spotted Cow for a friend, but was pleasantly surprised. There was a full selection of New Glarus, other regional micros, including more limited releases like GI Nightstalker. Most product seemed to move relatively fast (a stack of Steven's Point Cans was given real estate it wouldn't have if it didn't move) and there was a nice mix of cold and floor. The staff was helpful at checkout (wasn't in there long enough to merit an on-floor check up) and new the product, even making sure I had seen some of the WI-only stuff upon seeing my Iowa license.
I'd say the best part of this store though is for people coming from Duluth, particularly on 35, it's super close. It's about 100 yards from the bottom of the Blatnik Bridge/ I-535. Closer to downtown Duluth than Keyport and easier to find. From there it's just about a half mile to Thirsty Pagan as well.

Finally stopped in here during a recent visit to the area -- GREAT LOUNGE! And to think: all these years I've been visiting Superior and I always mistook this place for a strip club....
Loads of New Glarus packages and less than a handful of South Shore. Plenty of Point, some Summit and Schell's (Bock from a year ago, HAH!), and a little Rush River. Hup!
Lake Superior Brewing Company's "Old Man Winter Warmer" was my sole score of the visit, but there were also loads of Minhas brands for dirt-cheap that caught my eye (and yeah, I like weird non-Craft beer in cans, so sue me!) Enough Michigander beer to make Bon Iver quiver, some big national stuff, and the Shock Top Craft line (horror of horrors!) was kind of the total interest I found here. No more STONE in Wisconsin and there's no Three Effing Floyds up here, neither. Plus, nobody cares enough that Bruery gets to Hudson to try their hand at those overpriced bottles of trader bait to bring them to The Hammond Lounge, at least, but so be it!
The skinhead/tattooed-hipster at the front register who rang us up had a frikkin' CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE tee-shirt on and he said they were gettin'' back together! Word.
I went back to my hotel room at Superior Inn, got out the massage oil, and the rest of the night is a mish-mash of "The Wizard of Oz", rare and exotic pork rinds, and random beer prices blowing through the chasm in my mind . . .

Stopped here on a recent camping trip outside of Superior to try and find some New Glarus Cranbic. They had plenty of NG including the Cranbic I was searching for. Not a huge selection, but they had plenty of WI offerings including NG, Hinterland, Rush River and Point. A few Bell's offerings, some Big Sky and a some other craft brews, but not a lot. Pricing was fine, maybe a touch on the higher end, but not bad at all. No help around except for the bartender who also doubled as the cashier. Not the friendliest at checkout, but whatever. Worth a stop if in the area and looking for some WI goodies.
