Whoopass is another great Rochester/Upstate New York Double IPA! Apparently, they have upped the ABV since first being introduced (now listing 8.5% on the label).

This is a great IPA! Tons of hops, tons of pine! This is a delicious beer, and nice and strong to boot. Plenty of delicious bitterness, not too malty. Love it!

Appearance - Pours really hazy deep copper color with huge off white soapy head. Excellent head retention sticky lacing all around the glass.
Aroma - Grapefruit, citrus peel, light malt, floral hops.
Taste - Grapefruit up front , ripe orange follows with nice floral hops. Overly ripe tangerine adds a layer of sweetness.
Feel - Medium bodied well carbonated alcohol is well hidden with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Well done imperial IPA strong west coast IPA roots in the flavors and the aroma.

Had on tap. Pours clear, light brown in color with minimal head. Taste is pine and herbal hops. Medium bodied and carbonation, slightly bitter. Makes for an above average ipa, although I prefer others.

Whoopass pours surprisingly dark - it has a slight half finger of off-white head. It smells and tastes pleasantly of grapefruit and citrus. There's just a tiny bit of bitterness, but it's mostly just sweet and easy drinking. Great beer!

Pours a brownish copper with a nice tan white head. Aromas and flavors of dark honey malts, sticky fruit, some pine, and some caramelized orange. An interesting take on a DIPA.

A-pours a hazy copper color with an off white head with good retention and lacing
S-lots of pine, honey, biscuity malt, pineapple, pear, hint of citrus
T-pretty malt dominant with sweet caramel flavors coupled with pine and citrus bitterness, toasted biscuit in the background
M-medium bodied
O-pretty solid DIPA, flavor could be a bit more hoppy but overall nice balance
