Orange slight yellow hue. Very little lace and carbonation, but to be fair this is sampled from a growler, so carbonation could have been lost depending upon how the growler was filled. Somehwat cloudy, but not as cloudy as others that I've had. Mild phenol taste - banana and clove, or bubble gum depending upon your palate. Definitely a very tasty beer, especially outside on your patio on a hot summer day.

I need to try it again from the brewery tap to see if the carbonation was lost in the growler fill.

Happy fun time appearance! You could honestly confuse this with a glass of OJ that managed to whip up a wispy head. Lacing is nonexistent but otherwise it's just fun. Nose isn't a major player, as only a clove-y banana-ish hint funnels up. Taste is a hearty plunge of the clove that carries with it a splash more bitterness than your typical hefe and finishes with a heavy grain presence. Tongue wash is quick, bitter and only a touch With a cloying body. Overall I call this "dandy"!

This beer poured a hazy strawberry blonde color. Smell contains all of the general elements associated with the hefeweizen style, especially cloves, honey and banana. Mouthfeel was smooth and silky. Alcohol was not noticeable. Smells are accentuated in the taste with banana, cloves and honey developing on the palate. Overall this beer was a perfect representation of this beer style.
