Easy to drink, but a little light on the flavour.

355ml can poured into a standard glass mug.
Pours an amber/straw colour with very minimal head which dissipated quite quickly.
Scents of malts and general sweetness.
Tastes true to its name with tastes of honey, slight sweetness but not too sweet to be overpowering. Can also pick up some slight hops and malts and a very faint aftertaste on the back of the throat.

This Canadian beer is made with glacier water from breathtaking Canmore in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Alberta wheat, and laced with honey. It has a lovely golden honey colour. It is smooth and a bit sweet with no bitter after taste. I often have some in my beer fridge. I’m no beer “connoisseur“, but I do find this delicious to my amateur “palette”. Beer snobs can dis me, but I like this beer a lot!

Look: Mostly clear, gold with a big white head.
Smell: Very strong, sweet scent of honey, some yeast, bready.
Taste: A lot of grain and yeast, a bit of hops, not a whole lot of honey taste until after swallowing, then it leaves a slightly sweet aftertaste.
Feel: Normal carbonation, after swallowing it leaves a dry, sticky mouthfeel (there's the honey again).
Overall: A very solid beer in my opinion. I'm normally not a bit fan of wheats, but this is a good one.

Absolute tourist trap beer, made for the asian tour bus masses that pass through canmore on the way to spend a day in Banff.
Pathetic excuse for a "craft" beer, tastes like Keystone mixed with Natty Light with artificial honey (read - corn syrup) added on top. You can do a lot better than this, just head to any pub in Canmore and ask for whatever they have on tap, chances are you'll enjoy your beverage a lot more.

341ml bottle poured into tulip.
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin cap of white head that leaves scattered splotches of lace as it recedes.
Smells of store-bought honey buns, faint leafy hops and that's about it.
Tastes of bready wheat malt, honeyed grain and more soft green hops.
Feels light and thin. A bit watery with fizzy cabonation. Finishes off-sweet.
Verdict: Not recommended. Not that bad, but it's easy to find something better.

A great honey wheat beer that is sweet and smooth. One of the first craft beers I tried and it got me hooked. I've tried many of this style but I keep going back to the Grumpy Bear. It is often in my fridge.

One of the original Grizzly Paw brews. I've sampled this in many different incarnations - bottles, on tap at the pub, and growlers. Overall, there is nothing wrong with this beer. It's not much for looks, but there is a nice honey aroma that wafts up. I really like the wheat base in this beer - it is evident throughout to remind you exactly what you have in your glass. It's no Trout Slayer, but it is tasty and goes down nicely on a hot day.
