Poured into a Perennial snifter from a 750ml bottle. Split with the wife.
Pours a very nice slight pink and copper hue with a nice quarter inch head. The head is white and pretty dense with some more medium sized bubbles.
Aroma of fresh wheat, crisp and clean with some nice mild fruity sweetness. Earthy grain with some nice slight woody notes. Mild must and funk.
Flavor starts off with notes of earthy grain, fresh bread and woody funk. The flavor then nicely transitions to some fruity sweetness imparted by the yeast and the wine barrel. There is some nice slight tartness mixed in with some good mustiness and slight white grape notes. Slightly vinous. AS the brew warms there are nicer sweet and bready wheat notes present that work very well with the mild tartness and slight fruit sweetness. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Very nice and drinkable.
Perennial always does a solid job. They are hitting their stride for sure. I really enjoyed this beer. Its not earth shattering but the yeast esters and grain bill go very well together and work even better with the vinous characters from the barrel.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a snifter.
Appearance - Light ruby body with a big white head. Nice lacing inside the glass.
Smell - Phenolic and lightly fruity. I wouldn't pick it out as grape, though. Grainy malt. A hint of caramel.
Taste - The taste falls a little flat. Mildly tart with some brett earthiness. Light sweetness. Estery fruitiness that, again, could be grape must, but I don't really know. Some bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light body with a mild tartness. Well carbonated.
Overall - Smelled nice and drinks ok, but not very exciting.

Pours a slightly hazy, orange/pink color. 1/3 inch head of an off-pink color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of slight hop, floral, hint of wheat, hint of grass, and slight spice. Fits the style of a Saison / Farmhouse Ale. Mouth feel sharp, tangy, and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight hop, hint of wheat, floral notes, slight spice, and slight citrus. Overall, good aroma and blend, but the body is on the weaker side.
