Poured a cloudy orange to a Yards "Ales of the Revolution" tulip glass. An explosion of white head filling about half the glass. Smell is a bit funky with notes of grass and lemon. Taste is rather refreshing, very clean and easy to drink: herbal tea, lemon, Belgian yeast esters, some funk with a slightly tart finish. Very nice beer for the spring months. Good price, pick one up if you can

(Served in a teku)
A- This beer pours a slight hazy light apricot color body with a wall of microbubbles gliding to the 1/2 glass of antique white foam that last a good bit. The beer gets hazier with the second pour.
S- The white plastic phenol aroma has some clove qualities to it and a circus peanut ester finish that turns into hair perm chemical aroma as it warms.
T- The dry camomile flower flavor ends in a dry pucker with some plastic taste and circus peanut esters and banana esters really growing as the beer opens up. There is also a black pepper spice that comes through in the finish aswell.
M- The light mouthfeel is dry and has a bit of an astringent bite in the finish that is enhanced by the tight little fizz.
O- The big yeast character and off flavors are very unappealing together and it covers up much of the flower character. The fizz grows enhancing the off flavors and yeast esters making to difficult to finish the bottle.

Thanks to Nate for this one!
A: Pours a hazy orange color with a bone-white head on top made up of lots of small bubbles. Nice head retention. Lacing forms close to the cap and gets thinner up the glass.
S: Light spice with some apple and a bit of lemon. I get a little bit of a flowery aroma, but wouldn't say it was chamomile.
T: Some cracker malt upfront with some pepper and yeast mixed in. There is some light lemon and zest. Slightly herbal.
M: Light to medium bodied with high carbonation. Has a nice crispness.
O: Was hoping for a bit more of the chamomile, but a nice saison.

A - Hazy yellow with a high white foam. Slight lacing, and some carbonation.
S - Scents of lemon and a funky yeast strain. Has a bit of a musty hay smell.
T - I tasted cherry and lemon flavor, along with a bit of acidic bite at the end.
M - A bit lighter than I'd like, but it is a refreshing summer beer.
O - Worth trying again. I liked the fruit flavors with a mellow tartness. Good beer for sunny days.

poured into a tulip
pours a bright hazy golden yellow. huge fizzy fluffy head pours over the top. slowly diminishes leaving some chunky lacing. light retention.
funk up front with a light chamomile in the back. hint of alcohol.
quite funky through out. light chamomile through out. seems to mute the funk a bit, in a good way, making this very drinkable. some slight hoppy bitterness and citrus deep within. some bread and yeast emerges at times.
great carbonation really accentuates the flavors and brings them to life. light body.
a great saison all around, no complaints here.
