750mL bottle from Binny's (Chicago, IL). 17.99. Bottled 03/2013. Served in a Terrapin snifter.
Pours oil black with a finger and a half of thick mocha head. The head fades to a thin cap and leaves small patches of lace.
Invitingly strong aroma of mint with sweet cocoa.
A really nice blend of flavors. Rich dark chocolate, mint, chili pepper, French roast coffee, leather
Creamy, thick, full, tongue coating. Mild effervescence. Rich, roasty, bitter sweet minty aftertaste.
Another excellent beer from Perennial. By far the best and most authentic mint chocolate stout that I've experienced.
