Up from Jacksonville FL and stopped in at the brewery.
A: thin head on a clear amber and brown body. Decent lacing.
S: syrup, caramel and pungent earthy hops. Also has a wet sock hop aroma to it.
T: candied sugar, pine resin, tart citrus, toasted malts and caramel.
M: medium body and moderate carbonation. Nicely smooth for the style.
Overall: this one does t impress. More malt forward moving towards a barleywine. Almost like an under flavored 90 minute.
