A- Dark cola brown body, very opaque, minimal mocha head with fair retention.
S- Lots of coffee and oak, a bit of whiskey. The base beer really is covered up here by the barrel and coffee. Not sure how I feel about this.
F- Gets better than the nose, but not by a whole lot. Coffee, barrel, whiskey, a bit of vanilla mixed in with some dark chocolate and roast malt. Coffee and bourbon are the predominant flavours here.
M- Medium body, low carbonation, slick and smooth. Bitter black coffee with cream on the finish, some warming alcohol.
O - Lots and lots of coffee with a good bit of whiskey barrel. Didn't get a ton of the base beer to be honest. I'm not sure I'm really impressed by this one but I will have to revisit it sometime.
