Great beer, great taproom. Food is always enjoyable. I think everything is reasonably priced (both beer and food) for what you are getting. Awesome staff I have grown to know. My absolute favorite here in St. Louis. I feel very fortunate to have access to their beer. All the releases are run very well and make for a smooth, enjoyable day.

Last hurrah on day 9 driveabout (walkabout on wheels) with the unusual suspects. Not terribly far out from the AB tour we just done did, and beers being in order and whatnot. Wow, okay, it’s like a mixed industrial/residential neighborhood, and this is a century old preserves & syrup plant renovated into 6 dozen residential apartments & a commercial space where a brewery be. You know, I’d probably hang at the bar in my bathrobe if I lived upstairs. Daaaaaaaaamn...

Large facility with a seating area out front, up past the ‘Camp Chugasnifohom’ sign out front and in. Okay, I’m telling you right now; they have some sort of oatmeal cookie whoopie pie sandwich thing I’m going to need to get into. I digress. Off to the left, a hockey stick shaped wood topped bar, wood panel pieced base, and foot bar. Seating for (like) 9 on cushy sea foam leather swivel chairs. A dozen non-descript taps sunken below the bar. Barback unit holds a center logo mirror with glassware & cans in boxed shelving to both sides. Draft boards on the end listing selections (beer, ABV, $$).

Concrete floorings, I-beam cross beams, skylights, & ductwork above, suction cup lamps tracing the bar, and spinny top lamps over the floor & to the rear. 2 tone walls; beige over gray lowers and dark green over light gray walls, with artwork & 3 sets of small 8” X 8” framed brewery pics in 6 rows of 3 each, running a good length of the wall across from the bar. Windows looking in on the brew room there (me, pointing). 8 mix & match tables about the room; long shareds, booths, a trio of hightop 2 seat squares on sea foam swivel chairs, and bar counter spurs in between. Merch zone in the front corner.

11 beers up, a solid list of Belgian, Sour, Hoppy, big Stout, and things in between (Prism, DH Saison with Hallertau Blanc & Centennial, 5.5%; Daydreaming, Wit, 4.7%; Hommelbier, Belgian Pale Ale, 5%; Vacation Dad, DH Blonde Ale, 4.7%; Friendship Update, NE IPA, 6%; DDH Chasing the Horizon, DDH NE IPA, 6.5%; Sunset Tai Chi, IPA with lactose, vanilla, passionfruit, orange, & guava, 6.5%; Pontoon Breeze, Berliner Weisse with hibiscus, passionfruit, mango, lemongrass, orange peel, & rose Hips, 4.2%; Paloma Suburban Beverage, Gose with grapefruit, tangerine, & key lime, 4.2%; Fantastic Voyage, Imperial Stout with coconut, 11.5%; BA Fantastic Voyage, Whiskey BA Imperial Stout with coconut, 14.5%) + wine, cider, Kombucha, RTD’s, NA’s, soda, and house cans & bottles.

Prism, Saison, is a solid Farmhouse, ‘fo real, light citrus, damn good; Hommelbier, Belgian Pale Ale, is pleasant, earthy, spicy, and a real easy drinker; The Vacation Dad, Blonde Ale, is just an easy drinking hoppy Summer Ale; The DDH Chasing the Horizon, NE IPA, is actually quite nice, citrus, earthy; Pontoon Breeze, Berliner, is all mango & passionfruit love, lightly tart; Paloma Suburban Beverage, Gose, is key Lime prominent, which runs over Grapefruit as it should; Fantastic Voyage, Imperial Milk Stout, is all coconut, pleasant enough and hides the booze. I’m thinking Hommelbier, Prism, & Pontoon Breeze for the wins, but really there was nothing of the suck here.

Went on walkabout and found the secret side room behind curtains off the bar. Okay, it’s not really so secret, just a lounge or event space they want to keep YOU out of because you’re dirty. And outside, now, there’s a large porch, with a lower area holding 8 tables under canopy penned, and another 8 across the lawn with Cornhole and a ping pong table I destroyed Davo on (for his sins). I was gleaming the goddamn ping pong zone cube, I tells ‘ya, and took him down 21-14. It was a crushing defeat in a ‘remnants of Baltimore a decade ago’ kind of way.

Not naming names, but it had been suggested that all we were going to find here were 10% beers, and that talk was squashed (it really was suspect from the get a-go, IMO). Good range and everything done well. Some serious business here.

Ok first I have to say the teal bar seats pop, super fun in this modern industrial space, weirdly shaped though. The selection was surprisingly meh, mostly stuff that is on the shelves year round, and the bottle list was mostly to go only and the things that weren't were very highly priced. Peruvian street food is a bold choice, but didn't get to try anything so I can't speak to it. The service was friendly once you got them away from their phones and drinking with their buddies, when asked about to go bottles they were completely clueless to what the beers available were, woof! But once we got beers they were good. Was so excited to finally visit, let down

Very nice outdoor area and decent food. The inside is a lot bigger since the expansion and there is even an arcade game room now.

My wife and I visited this brewery after a nice dinner at a nearby burger joint. Unfortunately, the tasting room was being remolded when we visited, but it was a beautiful summer evening, and they had a courtyard with plenty of picnic tables and walk-up beer service.. Easy to find, off-street parking, and incredibly interesting and creative beer. We'll have to return when the tasting room work is complete.

When we arrived at the tail end of our road trip, the pandemic had Perennial still operating out of what must have been the old loading bay doors for the Coke plant, with outdoor seating only. This was one of the only places we stopped to still have tighter policies in this regard, but it didn't detract from our visit. It was a beautiful day, with plenty of empty picnic tables for us to choose from, despite being fairly busy, each with their own umbrella we could pop open and swing around to get our own personal shade from the sun.

They were offering a fairly sizeable list of on-site bottles and cans on top of their otherwise small draft list. I found myself enjoying the on-site bottles thoroughly, while the drafts were solid too. I spent most of my time here in awe at just how delicious I found some of their saisons to be, all of which I'd not previously had access to, knocking off one after another upon each new discovery. The best part was not having to kill off a whole bottle on your own if they were larger format--they were offering half or partial pours, as noted on the menu, and re-capping them to be stored back in the fridge.

Service wasn't just friendly and helpful regarding the on-site offerings, but they also spoke with my old lady for a good chunk of time, offering recommendations for local bars and restaurants. I couldn't ask for more, except what looked like a pretty bogus and simplistic food menu also turned out to be surprisingly good quality as well, so I was happy all around. We didn't even need to go out to eat after this, instead we just crashed at our hotel for the night--a much needed rest after a long third leg of a road trip.

When it comes to St. Louis it doesn’t get better than the folks at perennial artisan, chandler, and now Lockwood. The vibes are always fun and worth the drive from Chicago each time they release something fun!

Definitely off the beaten path, I was excited to visit Perennial. A huge building with a fairly small taproom, it honestly didn't need much more. Good variety of beer, fresh coffee, merch, and food, giving guests pretty much anything they could want. Tap / bottle list was varied and the quality was excellent. Keith, one of the brewers gave an uber-informative and entertaining tour of the whole facility and really made the experience more special. Loved meeting the team over there and will definitely be back next time I find myself in the area.

First time stop at PAA. Sunday afternoon after a long day/ multiple flights. Tasting room was big, bright and cheerful. Great tunes (90’s Pop Rocks) we’re loud but not a problem. Just set a spot on Upbeat fun tone.
Guys behind bar very helpful; really good info ( and pride in product) from Keith.
Beer selection was very good. Saisons, lagers; IPAs and 3 big Stouts. Brand new foeder aged ale. Awesome. Only had a kale salad but it was great and everything else I saw at bar was good looking and being polished off quickly by those at the bar.
Nothing presumptive or haughty. Just good people and a good place. And damn good beer.

I was in St Louis last week and made it a point to visit Perennial while I was there. It was great -- the taproom is simple and unassuming, but the service is good and the beer is outstanding. They had 11 taps on when I visited, and I was able to try several of them and they were all quite good. I didn't really get to explore the food menu much, but I had the cheese curds and they really went well with the beer.

Cool spot in a cool neighborhood. I was disappointed with what they were pouring when I was there though. They should try to have some of their highest rated beers available year round.

love the vibe at perennial. the bar layout is so cool, the staff is always friendly and pleasant and the beer selection typically covers IPAs, lagers, saisons and imperial stouts (or barleywines). when the weather is nicer, the outdoor area is spacious and fun. the food menu, although limited, is adventurous and usually quite good. been to a lot of releases here and it’s always a good time with people looking to share beers. about the only negative is it’s not in the greatest part of town.

Visited for a few beers on a Saturday afternoon. The space is pretty vanilla, there is a bar along the wall will some tables as well. A bit of outdoor seating in front as well. They have a draft list of about 10 beers available in small and normal pour sizes. List is very heavy on saison variations. They also often bottles for in house drinking (pricey), and also a few wines and whiskey. Service was fine. They have a small food menu but we didn't eat.
