2013 variety.
Quetzalcoatl release
Appearance - Murky red ale with what looks like melted/diluted chocolate. Little to no head, what is there is an off white almond ring. Slight spotty lacing.
Aroma - Milk chocolate. Hint of yucca/cassava.
Taste - Milk chocolate, touch of vanilla, yucca/cassava, no noticeable heat from poblano, and serrano.
Mouthfeel - Medium to full bodied, low carbonation. A touch chewy.
Overall - A big red ale, ton of chocolate, no heat (unfortunately), and full mouth. The 11% alcohol is well hidden. Try if you can.
