A: is nearly black. with some lacing and about 1/2 head.

S: I smell roasted malt and java, some sweet grain maybe its oatmeal and some light hops. Would have been higher score if it had a richer nose and to style.

T: some dark rich chocolate, and coffee front end, some sweet malt, and a hint of hops. Some of the yeast sourness comes through, good balance. not boozy, but it lacks some punch for the style.

M: medium body. medium carbonation, and some aftertaste of malt. still on the thin side

O: the 2nd out 6 beers I had there, and this 1 is ranking 2nd of 6. very drinkable stout from many I have tried. It reminds me of the 7 bridges stout and not nearly as good as a strange stout of A1A. Not undrinkable or anything and I am not wanting a ris, but I don't want a session type stout either. Just like to have a nice non hoppy stout at about 6% abv is that too much to ask?

A - poured with a small head of tan foam on an opaque black body. The head settles pretty quickly and leaves only lidge traces of lace.

S - dark coffee and some nutty caramel in the background.

T - sweet, malty notes if milk chocolate up front with a bit of coffee. The dark malt becomes stronger in the finish with a hint of smoke and some toffee as well as moderate bitterness.

M - a moderately thick, slightly oily body, moderate carbonation and a sweet finish.

D - a very nice example of the style. Complex with a nice, nutty coffee character and a balanced finish.

Serving type: on-tap

A: black with almost no light getting through. Quarter finger light brow head.

S: mild roast and coffee

T: starts with a very nice medium intensity roast and coffee flavor and finishes with a semi sweet dark chocolate flavor. Oat ad dry roasted nut notes.

M: medium to full body. Moderate carbonation and a wet finish.

Overall: The flow of flavors from start to finish complement each other and make this a both very drinkable and different stout from many I have tried.

Serving type: on-tap
