a: yellow and orange in color, its poured at 45 to the rim of a shaker glass not much head. Slightly cloudy. Assuming it was dry hopped due to the haze.

s: smelled fresh, nice hoppy notes, some malt comes through. The hops seems citrus like, but not grapefruit to me. Seemed like a SN clone to me

T: Quite decent , very well balanced out, a decent thirst killer that ale. Hops were good and strong but no IPA strong, malt backbone was rich, clean not much yeast taste.

m: med body, nice carbonation, but was on low side.

o: decent APA, a tad better than the average.

overall after than thing they called a Sasion anything was an improvement.

Looks and smells good. Tasted a little too woody or peppery at the end. All in all a pretty standard offering for a pale ale.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint, the beer is a pale, hazed, copper gold color with a foamy, dense, clingy, white head. Nose of cut grass, grapefruit, lemongrass, and toast. Flavors are bitter and pepper forward, with a light citrus blend throughout. Effervescent and spiced aftertaste on a light, frothed body. Clean, frothy, slightly bitter finish. Crushable brew!

12oz can, summer 2013
Riedel tulip

A: Cloudy yellow orange. Thin layer of bright white. Not anything sustained.

S: Lemon and grainy hops on nose. Some cardboard from the age and malts.

T: Up front some piney citrus hop flavors. Malt sweetness. Finish is fairly dry.

M: Lighter side of medium.

A: thin head and some scattered lacing on a cloudy amber and crimson body.

S: citrus, earthy and hoppy, especially for a pale ale.

T: hoppy and piney but smooth. Nice grapefruit and earthy notes in the finish.

M: medium body and moderate to high carbonation. Smooth

Overall it seems this is the way of the pale ale now, Hoppy and fruity but lower ABV than an IPA.
