A: Half finger white head that slowly dissipates. Appears to be highly carbonated with a chorus of dense, fine bubbles as the head settles. Lacing is moderately evident as the beer swirls around the glass. Color resembles a sun ripened date. Almost two tone when held to the light.
S: Brown sugar first, followed by dark fruit. I hesitate to say this but...grape soda? This would indicate a complex smell that my mind can't comprehend. Malty, fruity fermented goodness.
T: Malty breadiness, followed by plums and raisins. Almost like a holiday date bread with some rum. Toward the end, I pick up on the alcoholic warming undertones and it finishes with a lingering nutty sweetness.
M: The mouthfeel is really fantastic. My tongue seems to hover in my mouth elevated by mini hot air balloons of carbonation. Magic carpet.
O: Mouthfeel and smell stand out to me as exceptional qualities. Overall, a world class experience.

A: Clear tree bark brown, soapy head (this bottle is literally overflowing just upon its opening). Some large debris is visible. Bonus points for the ridiculous head (it won't stop!), but I am a little worried about what happened to cause that/how long it's been on the shelf.
S: Pungent, several inches above my glass I'm still getting strong aromas of plum, mild malt, a touch of sweetness. Very clean.
T: Same as above, hints of caramel in addition. Initial taste is dry, mild sweetness on the finish. No alcohol trace, impressive.
M: Silky, soft, padded, but nowhere near flat. Somewhat astringent. Honestly one of the most impressive mouthfeels I've ever tasted.
O: A classic example of a quad. Not overly complex, but with plenty of depth. Standard-setting.
