A: Poured dark cloudy brown with a huge sticky head. Nothing escaped this as it stuck to everything and laced like a champ.
S: Exactly like slightly overcooked raisin bread. Dark dried fruit jumps out with raisin and prune. The sweet bread is close behind with a slight burnt note.
T: Exactly as the nose advertises: big spicy sweetbread with a burnt characteristic slides into the raisin and prune flavors. The malt really holds up and keeps the sweetness and spice back but its all there in high quantities. The end is alcohol and it warms until the next sip.
M: Pretty much medium with a heavy quality. Very creamy and smooth.
O: Fantastic. For me this is the right balance of bready malt and fruit sweetness. Its a monster to drink though and the ABV is noticeable, but it was hard to stop.
