pours a hazy mahogany (must have unsettled the yeas in transport, darn) with a tan head that is about an inch thick and slowly falls into a firm sheet covering the top of the beer.
the aroma is very rich and fruity, raisins, hint of clove, bananas and alcohol.
the flavor is light on the palate, fruity, some caramelization, firm bitterness for a belgian, some spiciness, lingering maltiness a graininess like in pilsners.
this is an awesome beer easy drinking and high octane which can be a scary combo.
