Apearance - Pours a murky dark mohagany with a 2 finger light brown cloud like head, good lacing.
Nose- Dark fruits, yeasty spiciness (predominately clove) and tons of caramel.
Palate- A raisiny sweetness is the first thing that hits. Cherries and figs are easily picked out of the stone fruits. The Belgian yeast twang cannot be missed and closely mimics the nose. Caramel is apparent along with the alcoholic warming.
Mouthfeel- Full bodied, high, creamy carbonation.
Drinkability- It would take me some time to finish a few of these, but time well spent
