Labeled 25/01/16. A best by date?
A: Pours a very cloudy (clouds of yeast everywhere) pale orange. Enormous fluffy white head (still erupting out of the bottle several minutes after being opened, even with only 1/4 liquid). Head sticks around forever, barely budges over time. Thick chunks of fluffy lacing remain behind.
S: Big citrus, melon and cloves. Touch of grass it seems? Not entirely sure. Bready.
T: Notes of grass and citrus up front. Very spicy, lots of belgian yeast character. Cloves, black pepper and some other spices that I can't differentiate. Dry, spicy aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied, sorta astrigent and dry.
O: One spicy tripel. One of the spiciest I've had. Lots of great belgian yeast flavors in this one. Well balanced flavors, crisp and easy drinking. Great brew.
