A: Hazy medium gold color with a 2 finger head of very tight bubbles that are well retained. Nice lacing with noticeable alcohol legs.
S: Caramel, yeast / spice, ripe fruit, malt and alcohol. Almost a quad.
T: The taste follows the nose. Caramel, yeast / spice, ripe fruit, malt and alcohol (well hidden). Very big beer flavor. Again, this beer is almost a quad.
M: Medium body, spot on St. Bernardus pallet cleansing carbonation. Smooth overall, well balanced with mild alcohol warmth.
O: To me St. Bernardus Triple is a very good representation of the style. I do prefer the St. Bernardus Triple over their Watou Triple. The St Bernardus is a more complete classic tripe and is an over all better finished product.
