This is my favorite beer, although it is much harder to find than it used to be. For a while I was being told by local shops that it was seasonal, but I see on here that it is not. I guess the gas stations and grocery stores just stopped carrying it, which makes me sad.

12oz can from Toby. Medium, clear golden, ring of head. Sweet malty aroma, light stone fruit. Taste has Belgian yeast, and a zesty character, some buttery notes.

From a can. Orange color with white head. Smells of banana and floral yeast. Medium feel. Fruity flavors with some spice from the yeast. A good American tripel that hides its ABV well!

Finally got a fresh can, less than 2 months old.
Conservative pour, not much head. Nice dark amber red color.
Aroma is rich, spices and a touch of sweetness. Very nice. Wish it were more aromatic.
Tasty and rich, very flavorful, not too sweet, not bitter, like a spiced rum cake. Delicious!
Felt just right. Had a great drinkability.
Very glad I purchased this 4 pack. Perfect start to a rainy November night.

Pours a murky golden with orange in the center, small off white head on an aggressive pour not much lace.
Aroma is sweet malts, with touches of honey, almost wheat like notes, some fruity esters pear, banana, apricot. Good yeast notes hints of spice. Little strange almost a mix of a Tripel and a Hefe, but it smells nice.
Taste is surprising like the nose good sweet malts fruity notes with finish yeast notes and hints of spice. Definite Hefe notes again with clove being dominate spice. Not as sweet or candy sugary as most Tripel's seem to be for me this is a plus.
Mouthfeel is medium with fairly mellow carbonation for the style.
Overall little strange I would say its got a touch of Hefe in it not your normal Tripel. Don't find it overly sweet as I do many of the style. I am enjoying this one and would be up for having it again maybe I need to revisit the Tripel as a style because I use to avoid them.
