Nice orange colored brew, not dark. Head is creamy, foamy, and white. Nice lacing.

Strong aroma. Guava, apricot, mango, pine, orange, lemony, citra... A lighter aroma for

Whoa. Sooo smooth, but not buttery, and delicious. Creamy, easy drinker. Lots of wet biting bitterness. Pine flavors are also very forward. Bitterness is a bit too lingering, never really fades away, finishes kinda rubbery... A very wet beer. Carbonation is low and perfect. A bit too much bitterness, for me. Flavors of pine, apricot, mango, orange, lime rind,

This a truly abrasive beer, it's good just a bit too over-the-top. A good beer and well done, just a bit to soap flavored for me. Quite delicious and recommended.

Bottle date 02/13/2014 (2 months ago)

Tropical fruit and caramel sweetness. Pineapple, guava, banana. Soft bitterness, with caramel sweetness to balance. Medium body. Pretty good, but I typically go for the drier style (Sculpin, Pliny), so probably will not buy again, but I can certainly appreciate a well balanced beer. Actually, if I can get a bottle fresher than 2 weeks, i'll give it another go.

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a DFH IPA glass. Bottle 13 February 2014.

A: Lots of bubbles, nice couple of fingers of frothy white head. The beer is clear and light amber. Noticeable effervescence.

S: Incredibly tropical. I've kept an eye open for Mosaic ever since some of the NorCal breweries (Bear Republic, Lagunitas) started experimenting with it a year or so ago. Pineapple, banana, mango. Fruity and sweet and delicious.

T: Mmmm. Rich and sweet. Malty and deep. End taste is bitterish and oddly vegetal. Sadly, the taste only hints at the gorgeousness of the nose.

M/O: A refreshing, drinkable, tropical beer. Delicious and eccentric IPA. Highly recommended would have again.

Slight haze on the mainstream amber color. A cheerful head in the tall Petrus goblet. Hugely aromatic nose with pine, peaches, and guava nectar. Sparkly mouthfeel.

Malty beginning with toast and some sweetness like lime peel marmalade. Plenty bitter from the start. The tropical fruit comes through in the hops here. Mango and fermenting pineapple. Is that even a whiff of wild onions? Or just the cat?

Sharp and acidic after some sipping. Moderate bitterness in the long aftertaste. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the brewery in downtown El Segundo.
