WE LOVE OUR AMERICAN COUSINS.
But sometimes they can be kind of full on. So we’ve crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

Draft at the smugglers cove in Liverpool
Big creamy frothy dense head with great retention, tons of frothy lacing, mostly clear slight hazy pale to orange color

Nose rich English herbal grassy leafy hops, little herbal tea and even hint of mint, little earthy herbal moss, sweet malt, little toasty caramel like, biscuity

Taste more English hops, herbal, earthy grassy mossy, general herbal grassy leafy, hint if tea, fruity undertones likely yeast esters, semi sweet grainy toasty malt, little biscuity toasty bread crust, hint of caramel, med bitterness, drier finish, touch of pine and more earthy forest floor like hops lingering

Mouth is med bod, med frothy carb

Overall quite nice, really hits the spot for a good EPA, a tad lighter on the malt and fruity notes than ESB so right where it should be

Look :- Deep red-gold . Creamy head for a short while , good lacing .

Smell :- Sweet hoppiness and fruity

Taste :- Mellow then a hit of hops that goes as fast as it comes . Hint of fruit and a slight bitterness

Taste :- Prickly bubbles, neither too watery or oily . Decent.

Overall :- Good . Still tasty and not at all watery at 4% .

On tap in Shanex’s town. Can you believe it?

We are getting hot and wild, just chilling on the waterfront like Kazan directing a scene. “I could have been a contender!” Not so much on this one. It’s ok, but I wouldn’t match it up with Karl Malden.

See y’a!

330ml can. Poured gold, with thick, lasting white head. Taste is floral with biscuity, grainy malt. Mouthfeel and body are good for a 4.0% ale. The dregs from the can clouded the beer, so I guess this is unpasteurised/unfiltered - good! This beer hasn't the strong hop taste of some IPA's, nonetheless its a worthy beer in my opinion.
