Brewed using only the plumpest, ripest whole BC cherries, each glass of Cherry Porter is lush and creamy with a fruity aroma.
Rich and sensual, the flavour is reminiscent of Black Forest cake with sweet chocolate notes and a slightly smoky character from the roasted malts.

Honestly this is a beer that grows on you as it warms up and as you consume it. A sipping beer, a dessert beer, a Christmas beer. My first impression was not good (with a meal) but later trying it on its own, it was vastly better without the interference of food. I would buy again. A nice solid porter.

I've been wanting to check this one off my list for a long time. The look is lovely indeed - a nice tan head on top of a deep and dark body. I found the smell to be subtle - roasted malt with a hint of cherry cola. The taste remains true to its porter nature - roasted chocolate with faint cherry popping its head up on first sip. The finish is dry and clean. I enjoyed this with a spicy brunch - a civilized breakfast beer, to be sure!

Beautiful head. Notes of cherry (of course) chocolate, coffee. Rich and smooth. Low on the IBU scale.
