Bottle from trade with Cbuk1013. Reddish gold pour with white head. Nice aromatics of pine and citrus, also hay.

Taste is full of hop punch - fresh, crisp and light. Very smooth and drinkable. Depending on the freshness this could be a really remarkable beer. Hope to find it on draft someday.

12 fluid ounce bottle
Served in my new Kuhnhenn snifter

A - It is tea colored. I must have forgotten how to pour. I ended up with a half a glass of off-white head.

S - There is a light citrus aroma. I also smell some fresh cut grass. Maybe the name is influencing my perception.

T - At first I tasted the citrus. The more I drink. The more the bitterness takes over becoming less pleasant.

M - Moderate

O - It started out good with light citrus notes, but I found the building bitterness overwhelming after a while.

Greenbush brewery is nearby in Sawyer MI and is frequently crowded. I've had Dunegras many times on tap, but this time was poured from a bottle into pint glass. I did not notice much of a difference.

A: Beautiful caramel color. Hint of red. 1/2 finger head, dissipates relatively quickly.

S: Sweet, malty.

T: Balanced bitterness and sweetness. Slight citrus taste comes through.

M: Minimal carbonation. Lingering bitterness, not overwhelming.

Overall: One of my favorite beers from GB.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Sort of a caramel brown color with a good finger of fluffy white head. Good amount of lacing.

Smell: Light hoppy smell. Not much too it.

Taste: Great IPA flavor. Very hoppy. Perfect amount of bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Very crisp. High amount of carbonation.

Overal: I really enjoyed this beer. Would have it again. Also really enjoyed that on the bottle they wrote "A justly hopped india pale ale with absolutely no dunegrass.
