Been to Greenbush a few times before to pick up growlers, but this was the first time I actually came here to try some of their beer on tap. Very small, they have maybe 4 or 5 tables and probably 12 spots at the bar, the rest is standing room only. The building is basically one big room, but there are glass partitions up between the tap room and the brewery part of it. I came here the day after Christmas around 1pm and it was packed. We had to stand the entire 40 minutes or so that I was there, which is fine by me.

Service suffered a little bit just because it was so busy, but the people that work there really want to be there. Very friendly, knowledgeable people. Would have loved to talk to them more about their beer. They had about 12 beers or so on tap, 6 in group A (their standard beers), 5 in group B (some higher gravity stuff) and an experimental beer. They now have bottles to go which is awesome and reasonably priced. Bummed they were out of delusion, but there was plenty of other stuff to bring home.

I tried three 6 oz samples of Mammoth, Retribution, and the experimental smoked porter. Super impressed with their beers, and I think as they are around longer, their beers will get even better. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this brewery grows. They have some limited food options like soup salad and a few appetizers from what I saw.

Keep up the good work Greenbush. I only wish I lived closer to you guys.

I was utterly blown away by the friendliness, great beer, and overall chill-ness of the annex. The BBRIS was yowza.

They always have something good on tap and their BBQ is ridiculously good. I highly recommend the BBQ sampler, especially the brisket. Greenbush has some of my favorite beers and it's been awesome seeing them grow up. From a small tasting room to the brewpub and annex they are today I can only imagine where they are headed next. A must for anyone traveling trough the area. It's right off the highway in Sawyer, MI. If you do plan on going I suggest getting there early as seating is minimal and it always fills up.

I swung by Greenbush on the way back from the 4 Elf party. By the time I got there I was burned out and tired from the bottle share that took place 12 hours ago! The atmosphere was great, server friendly and the food was amazing. If you ever go there you must try the Mac N Cheese with brisket.

This brewery is very eclectic and reminds me of the pre-prohibition era when every town had a brewery and every town had a ma and pa type of hardware store. The food is solid and their BBQ is highly regarded by many of the locals that I talked to. I had a sampler when I was there and a pint of Doomslayer which was awesome. They make some awesome beer and have a really laid back atmosphere that makes it so you don't want to leave. I will definitely be coming back again!
