A: Light amber, moderate rising carbonation all around, single finger of foam.
S: Beautiful, beautiful. Almost sweet, pineapple, pine trees, grapefruit.
T: Better when it not as cold. Very nice mixture of sweetness, smooth hops,
M: Smooth with a nice zing on the back end.
O: Good, nice, nothing to complain about. Would drink it often if it was available here.

Pours a finger and half of head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is lots of dry grains. Nice.
The taste is "pilsner-like" with a dry bitterness, then a fairly sweet malt to finish.
The texture is light and fizzy.
It's enjoyable.

I found this is a cafe in Halki, a small village in the centre of Naxos. After a long walk it was a nice surprise, and went down very well. Tastes very much like a American IPA. A brewery I'll be looking out for from now on.

Best before end: 12/31/14.

Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus juice aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus fruit and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with nice citrus forward hop qualities all around.

Serving type: bottle.

Nelson Sauvin hops and Greece should not mix, but we have here a Greek pale ale brewed with Saaz and Nelson Sauvin hops. Here's a taste of Greece that hopes to be superior to Mythos. On to the beer:

A slow rise of foam rises out of the bottle after the bottle is popped. Poured into a glass, this beer has a hazy pale gold color while on top rests an airy soapy head. Several strings of lace cling to the glass as the beer is consumed. The aroma has an English accent. It smells like toffee, diacetyl, fruity, with a dash of hops.

This is one fruity pale ale. The beer starts off clean with a kiss of Saaz, then it goes into wave after wave of vague fruit. A bit like honeydew. In between, the beer does offer interesting mineral notes and a dash of hop bitterness which lightly hits the palate. Its carbonation is refreshing and body light, allowing Friday's to be an easy drinking ale, perhaps best suited on a Greek isle.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a two finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to leave a decent bit of foamy island lace to linger on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the beer is strongest of a bready and citrusy flavor with a decent showing of yeast and a little bit of an odd marmalade aroma. Along with these smells comes some must and a little bit of hay.

Taste – The taste begins with a drier bready taste that has a decent showing of yeastiness right from the start. As the taste moves on some sweeter flavors of apricot, peach, and pear come to the tongue. Toward the very end of the flavor profile, some flavors of grain and a bit of an herbal and grassy hop come to the tongue, leaving one with a rather odd, but not bad, flavor to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly thicker side for an only 4.7 % abv. brew with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. For the mix of somewhat fruity sweet and bready, but lightly hopped and dank tastes of the brew, the feel is rather nice and creates an easy drinking base for the mix of flavors.

Overall – An odd, but decent and different pale ale. It is worth a try if you get a chance, just to see what you think…

330ml Bottle from Athens, Greece:
Light amber with a cm tall, bubbly white head on top that holds well.

Strong biscuit and malt aroma with some subtle, earthy tones and some caramel but there is also a hoppy and more lively aroma starting around the middle and continuing towards the end. There is some spice, sweetness and a touch of citrus with some light fruits too.

Sweet malts & caramel ones as well to begin, there is also some lighter fruits and a hint of orange and citrus around the middle. There is a fresh, hop filled taste with nice bit of spice and a hint of bitterness towards the end.

Light medium in body with plenty of carbonation and a smooth body but with plenty of fizz and a very lively feel to it. There is a nice balance and the finish is a crisp finish.

Not a bad beer at all, maybe a little light on flavour around the middle or at least the flavours are a little faint but it is a nice drink with a good balance and nice, smooth and crisp mouthfeel.

Far too carbonated and a bit too much malt, but a welcome relief for a U.S. West Coast traveller far from home. I hope to see more options like this spread to this part of the world.
