Cask @ The Seven Stars, Bristol - Pours jet black with a thin tanned foamy head, Nice lacing. Aroma - roasted malts, dark chocolate, light vanilla hints. Taste - Sweet, creamy, lactose, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, light bitter finish. Highly drinkable stout.

Banbury beer fest' 2016.
A very dark brown brew. Thick tan head.
Light caramel fudge aroma. Vanilla evident.
Rich flavour of milk chocolate and vanilla. The sweetness is put in check by a toasty bitterness.
Very smooth.
The best of the evening.

At the 2011 Cambridge Beer Festival.
This was my final pint of the day, and an absolutely perfect one to end with. The vanilla is present but not at all overpowering. On both the nose and taste, a wonderful melange of vanilla, tobacco, chocolate, and coffee, impeccably smooth and balanced. This is indeed Nirvana in a glass. At 5%, one could easily enjoy 2 or more of these in one sitting.
