Great brewery/restaurant right next to the larger Great Lakes Brewery practically next door . However, the focus is on Market Garden and their extensive and awesome in-house beer selection. I cant recall all the names, however fall/winter is a great time to enjoy malt-rific brews like malt train, brown ale, scotch ale, porter, and wintery seasonals (even though most of these mentioned are avail year round as well). Overal,l one of my favorite bar/breweries in Cleveland, not just for the brews but an awesome patio, and cool hidden bar down below (when open). Great place to take friends in town, watch a game, or meet clients to for a beer. Highly Recommended

Transcribed from notes dtd Boxing Day, M, 26 Dec 2013.
It was my intent, following Wink's, to hit GLBC, but they were slammed, so I weighed my options and headed to this relatively new entry to the scene along W 25th Street, just east of Western Market and directly across from McNulty's Bier Markt!
Windows ran along its front with the entry on the eastern end of the building, opening directly onto the m.d.s. I announced my presence and proceeded to the long, curved, black bar which resembled an elongated boomerang.
My tall, blonde, long drink o' water server was momentarily taken aback when I told her that I wanted to make like Simple Simon and taste the wares. What?!? Not every patron starts out by ordering a ten-beer sampler?
Settling in and down, I began to take note of my surroundings. The windows were all fronted by standard restaurant tables and chairs, followed by high tables and chairs and then, the bar, itself. The back bar would have been run-of-the-mill with its wooden shelves, were it not for the Victory BC-style growler filler and the word "BEER" spelled out atop the back bar in metal and illuminated with yellow bulbs, pre-neon like, early movie marquee-stylee. Along the back wall was booth seating, followed by the lavs and then another short, blonde wood bar with patio seating out back, but no takers on this cold, snowy day. I loved the flickering, faux-lamp chandeliers, the exposed ducting and the high ceilings.
I ate, but my notes do not have it recorded. I believe that it was salmon and that it went well with their AIPA, my default beer at any new place.
Mom Test: I might get her to visit her cousins and come here, no problem. She would undoubtedly be bemused at my prickliness towards the waitstaff. Hey, the blondes looked like they had been pressed from the same mold. I could not resist.

Market Garden is a cool place. The big patio on the back is a tremendous place to grab a beer in the summer. Or, you can sit on the front and watch all the action in Ohio City. The beers are very tasty. I really like the food, my wife was underwhelmed.
