Received as an extra in a trade and poured into my Duvel tulip.
A - Poured a filtered crystal clear golden hue with a nice nearly two finger creamy white head that fades to leave a thin blanket and light side lacing.
S - Aromas of nice pine, orange zest, tropical fruits (mango, passion fruit). Faint grapefruit as well.
T - Taste is much more bitter than the nose. Loads more pine and some grassy hops, the tropical notes are super, super faint. Light soft caramel, faint malty sweetness. Nice citrus zest. A very tasty beer, but doesnt really match up with the nose.
M - Mouthfeel is good, nicely carbonated, alcohol hidden well. Very drinkable.
O - Overall, this is a really solid IPA, nose is dominated by citrus and tropical notes, whereas the taste is nearly all pine and a hint of grapefruit. Kind of wish it tasted like it smelled, or vice versa.
