A: Dark chocolate brown body that nears a coal black look at the core. Dark but thin enough to give evidence of some streaming bubbles. Loose fitting cap of dark khaki suds. Low amount of actual hang time as it dies down to a few swirls in the glass. Light dots of stick are sprinkled throughout the drink.
S: Milk chocolate and bittersweet cacao abound from the glass. Underneath lies some dark roasted malts and toasted cereals. Rich like chocolate malted milk ball. Even the aromas seems silky smooth here and really has my mouth watering.
T: Smooth milk chocolate with morsels of bittersweet and dark meld into hints of coffee roast and dark grains. There are some dark caramels at play with the lactose giving off a satisfying sweetness to the beer. It is a little light with no alcohol coming through and a low amount of bitterness. And it turns a touch chalky but otherwise this is pretty good. Some dark fruit and berry starts to surface as the beer warms up to room temp. A perfect little cordial that brings the right amount of sweetness without becoming too filling.
M: A moderately full bodied brew but also somewhat thin if that makes any sense at all. Dat silky smooth feel though from the sugary lactose and oats in the grist. Stumbles into some chalky territory at times but not in a very bad way. Super clean on the finish.
D: I do love a good chocolate stout and this one is solid. It does get a touch thin and chalky at times but the flavors are nice and really start to develop as the beer sits.
A great little dessert item to my delicious lunch stay here in the LBC.

Pours black in color with a nice tan head on it. Strong roasted malt aroma along with moderate coffee and a hint of dark chocolate. Nice sweetness to it from the lactose and a bit of toffee. The flavor has a strong coffee and roasted malt flavor that is balanced nicely by the sweetness of the lactose and the creamy milk flavor. A touch of chocolate on the back end with a nice creaminess on the tongue.
