For the long beach location:

In the base of a newer loft building, large glass roll up doors connect a large shaded/heated patio with the smaller main dining area. Sat at a comfy round booth, also there were many tables and chair settings. Large glass window behind the main bar that looks into the brewery.

Have been waiting to try Beachwood in general for a long time and the new brewpub specifically. Overall I thought the beer was solid if not particularly exciting - all were well balanced and smooth. Had slightly higher expectations for the house beers based on history of Beachwood.

Attentive service.

Very nice tap and bottle list. I focused on the house brews since I had never visited before, but the guest taps included many beers I had never had, not to mention heard of. 8 house brews on tap running the style gambit, you can get flights of 4 - so amongst our party we tried them all. Then decided to have a pint of Melrose IPA 9my hop centric favorite) Also do half pours of the guest taps - tried a Moylans Hop Craic. Also many bottles on their list that are not common to find in the typical beer centric establlishment, with semi-reasonable prices: examples being FW15, 50/50 eclipse, 3f, etc.

Focused food menu, but again slightly let down from what my expectations were. Tried the BBQ brisket (too dry), chicken (quite good) and pulled pork (too dry). Also the chicken nachos (interesting), hush puppies, cornbread and both a field green and butter lettuce salad (my favorites). We might have made a mistake by not ordering any ribs - but that was beyond my control. Bar B Q sauces were good, appreciated the sweet and spicy choices. Large portions.

All in all a fun place with a great beer selection, that I will definitely go back to. Know that you can park in the building and get 3hrs validation.

Kid friendly, lots of families for lunch on a Sunday

Came here for a Societe tap take over. While the Societe beers were good, the Beachwood beers stole the show. They brew a lot of different beers and have a lot on tap. Tried 6 - 8 and didn't have one I didn't enjoy. The food was pretty good but honestly that's not why I was there. As far as the vibe goes it's nothing special. Was pretty packed with a typical restaurant like feel. Will definitely go back though.

Purposely drove from the I.E. just to try the place out, based on having their beers at festivals, etc. Easy to find location with ample parking ($$) nearby. Large eating area with both in and outdoor options plus a bar for those getting a pint without food. Laid back vibe with large, readable signs for what was on tap.

Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the beers being served. Beachwood has a lot of their beers on tap plus some guest taps and bottle selections. While there were no special releases available the day we went, there was so much on tap, there was something everyone should like. I started easy with their Breaker Hoppy Pale and the wife went straight for the Udder Love Stout. Spot on great brews!

We ordered appetizers and regular food while we were there. Their BBQ sauces are awesome and food portions are generous/delicious. Lots to choose from and if you can't decide right away, order their chips and dip (excellent) while you sip a beer reading the menu.

Got to try all the IPAs they were offering that day plus all the stouts and porters. Not a bad one in the bunch. Beachwood is cranking out awesome beers and it's worth the drive from wherever you are to give them a try. Their IPAs are good enough that I passed on having a pint of Pliny while I was there (one of several guest taps that day).
