Serving Type- on tap poured into a tulip glass
Appearance- Dark hazy reddish color, pretty solid lacing on the head and some alcohol legs, thick white head but goes away pretty fast
Smell - Roasted malts, smell caramel, hops, just a solid smelling amber ale
Taste- Roasted malts, caramel, hops, some citrus coming through from the hops but just enough not overpowering
Mouthfeel- Smooth, silky solid amber ale
Overall- A pretty solid amber ale just a good beer and for 8%Abv its hidden pretty well just a great beer...Cheers

poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip
A: beautiful dark blood red. great hue, khaki head about a pinky high, dissipated fairly quickly
S: light caramel, light hops, allspice, smooth malt.
T: same as smell, very balanced in all areas. just hoppy enough, just malty enough. a little sweet, a little bitter. nice mix
M:little bit chewy. smooth cold sip with a lingering bubbles with a very slight post-milk flemmyness. haha.
O: good beer, not on of my favorites, probably would not buy again, although i got it in a trade with a friend. if someone offered it to me i would take it but not gonna be waiting in line for it anytime soon.

On Tap at the Brewery
A - Dark reddish/brown with an one-finger tan/beige head. The head takes a bit of time to diminish leaving long lasting streaky-white lacing down the entire glass.
S - Plenty going on here - Toasty/yeasty malt with hints of grapefruit, pine, and dark caramel. There are also some earthy notes in there that I couldn't quite put my finger on.
T - Sweet and dark caramel malt right off the bat. The taste finishes with just a touch of hop bitterness to round things off and make you want another sip. Very balanced with no one taste taking the lead.
M - Medium carbonation and body. Full flavor but this beer does not feel heavy in any way.
O - This is fast becoming one of my favorite Red Ales. Well crafted and everything is nicely balanced. And the bonus is that the brewery is about 20+ minutes away.
